FootJoy Hyperflex Golf Shoes
The release of the 2015 FootJoy line is right around the corner, and here at GolfHQ, we have had the privilege of seeing the newest addition to their lineup…FootJoy Hyperflex. On January 15th FootJoy will officially unveil their newest addition and all color options for the shoe. FootJoy fans have been very keen on these shoes ever since Hunter Mahan was spotted wearing a prototype of the Hyperflex during the Ryder Cup a few months back. Below are a few teaser videos and pictures to get all of you excited for the upcoming release.
The new shoe draws it’s design from the famous Zakim Bridge in Boston, which is the widest cable-stayed bridge in the world. This cable design is quite evident in the shoe as you can see the cable design used in the sketches. Known as the “FlexGrid” the FootJoy states that it will give golfers “comfort and flexibility they would expect from an athletic shoe with the support of a high performance golf shoe.”
Also along with the FlexGrid, it’s believed that the new FootJoy Hyperflex will also include the newest version of FootJoy’s Fine Tuned Foam insole. Known as “FTF 2.0” the new version will most likely be lighter while still offering the same cushion that you have come to love.
Look for these shoes to be on the feet of FootJoy ambassadors such as Hunter Mahan, Zach Johnson, and Graham DeLaet. This shoe is nothing short of ground-breaking and we have already heard that supply will be scarce in it’s initial release so it’s highly recommended to get your pre-order in as early as possible.
