Can Jordan Spieth continue his dominance?

Golf Season 2016 will be focused on Jordan Spieth, who set the golf world on fire after his historic 2015 season which included wins at the Masters & US Open. He was the PGA Tour Player of the Year and topped the money list as well. The question is can he even come close to matching such a successful season? Many believe Jordan Spieth could be the next trans-formative star in golf. If he continues to dominate the way he did last year, there will be no doubt that he is.

Can Dustin Johnson finally win a major?

The 31-year-old had an impressive year in 2015, considering he wasn’t even playing at this time last year. His 2015 campaign included 11 top-10 finishes, a win at Doral and a fifth place finish on the money list. DJ came painfully close to winning the US Open at Chambers Bay but missed an eagle putt which would have won it and then missed the birdie putt to save a tie. After seeing Jason Day get his elusive major title, 2016 could be the year Dustin Johnson finally breaks through.

Does Matthew Fitzpatrick burst on the scene?

The 21-year-old Englishman has a chance to become the next young star on the golf scene. Was the winner of the 2013 US Amateur and was tremendous during his first year on the Euro Tour. He had more top-10 finishes than any other player and scored a victory at the British Masters. Fitzpatrick will likely play most of his events in Europe but is expected to make a few stops in the US.

Can Rory McIlroy complete the career grand slam?

Rory needs a win at the Masters to complete the career slam and you can bet he has his sights set on that goal. His colossal meltdown at Augusta in 2011 is the one major blemish on his career resume. A win at the Masters would erase that collapse and reaffirm his greatness in a sport which has been dominated by Jordan Spieth as of late.

Recent reports have claimed that Tiger’s back problems are so bad that he has trouble getting in and out of his car and performing simple tasks. However, Tiger responded by posting a video of himself swinging on an indoor simulator. When he has been “healthy” It has been brutal to watch Tiger in recent years. Will he play this season? And if he does, will he be any sort of threat to win?
