My Fingers Hurt…

We’ve all heard, and probably used, every excuse in the book as to why we’re playing bad golf. So let’s have some fun and revisit some of the common ones as well some pretty hilarious outlandish reasons as to why most of the time we struggle on the links.

It’s too cold

It’s too hot

I didn’t get any sleep last night

I slept weird last night

I haven’t eaten yet

I ate too much for breakfast

I drank too much

I haven’t had enough to drink yet

I hate Bermuda

I hate bent

These greens are too fast

These greens are too slow

My allergies are killing me

My arm hurts

I need a new glove

This new glove needs broken in

My grip feels weird

I just took a lesson

I need a lesson

I haven’t played in 2 weeks

I’ve been playing too much

I didn’t get a chance to warm up

I hit too many range balls

These new shoes are killing my feet

These old shoes are killing my feet

I have too many swing thoughts going on

I’m not even thinking about what I’m doing

I’ve never played here

I play here too much

These bunkers are rock hard

The sand is too thick and soft

I can’t get the speed down

I can’t get the line right

I hate Pete Dye courses

I hate Donald Ross courses

I hate Tom Fazio courses

Where’s the beverage cart

My rangefinder needs a new battery

The gps says we’re on hole 14

This cart is too slow

This cart flies

Golf is hard

I stink

Enjoy the game and each other,
